This is part of the build that I wish we'd researched more beforehand. It's important to find an insulation that is water proof. We originally bought a paper based insulation because it was eco-friendly and rated high for isolation properties. But our van walls are metal and metal will sweat. So we had to go with a poly (plastic) form of insulation. So we used polyiso and the great stuff (fireblock) to adhere it to our walls. We also used all the waste from our cut pieces in our small spaces and filled it in with more great stuff. Here's our insulation:

Little parts haven't been stuffed yet in these pictures. The insulation job is not the most fun. If there is a next build, we will budget for 100% wool insulation.
