2021 was the beginning of our adventures with Jackie.
We took a short trip to Trap Pond State Park in DE in the early spring. It was our first successful, everything works trip and it was so nice. We were connected to power and water, we brought our kayaks, we saw family we hadn't seen in awhile,... good times.
In early summer, we went west. We had campsite reservations going out and coming back but no concrete plan for the middle (and we ended up adjusting our coming back plans too). It was a winging it, off-grid, high heat, low humidity adventure. So fun! Enjoy this slideshow set to the music that reflects the vibe.
In late summer, Sean and I traveled along the coast from Delaware to Maine. We stayed at state campgrounds and hipcamps. We brought our bikes (no dogs this time!) and had a nice belated anniversary adventure. Here's another youtube with more vibe music. We love the northeast!
Our last trip was in the fall at Assateague Island National Seashore in MD. Temperatures were in the low 40s, high 30s at night but we stayed cozy- even off grid without a heater. I guess Jackie seals up pretty well! We got lots of steps in exploring with the dogs and saw the full lunar eclipse during a lucky-timed night pee!
