This process took awhile and it's still ongoing as I type this. We will have connections for both city water and a big enough tank to go off-grid for a few days. We also will have shore power (plug-ins for camp sites or driveways) and also solar power for travel off grid.

Main plumbing pipes

Water in to the 20 gallon freshwater tank and water out from the 5 gallon grey water tank (sink).

Inside plumbing for outside shower

Outdoor shower. We haven't got the hardware or built the curtain yet. That will be a later post.

The hole for power is pretty big. We used more tape for this one too. The drill seems to jump even more than the saw.

Shore power plug for campground use.

Wider view of outside hook-ups.

This is some of the plumbing and electric equipment. The large white container will be our city (fresh) water (we're also adding some type of water filtration TBD), the small white container is our waste water (grey water from sink). We also have a water pump and a pressure tank. The tank-less water heater (one of the bigger energy draws) is not pictured. The blue box is our inverter/charger/transfer switch. This will convert both AC and DC power from all sources into the van so that the refrigerator, lights, outlets, fans, AC, heat, water pump, and water heater run smoothly- whether from plug-in at the campsite or from solar on the road. I'll post more detail about our plumbing and electric in a later blog.
